Well, the latest newsletter we have received from our agency, CCAI, states that the wait has now grown to 20-21 months from date of LID to match. Our LID is 02/06/07, we are nearing our sixth month of "official" waiting.....although our wait REALLY began when we went to the orientation a year ago. All we can do is wait, we will not change countries as other families in the program have done. Other families are also looking into the Waiting Child Program, or "special needs" list of children in China. This is a beautiful opportunity for children with medical conditions that may otherwise be overlooked, find their forever homes. Every family situation is unique and we feel that our path is the traditional program. Our hearts and our daughter are in China. Hang in there Laci, Mommy and Daddy will be there as soon as we can, when the timing is right :o) Jacob is also anxious for his sister and asks about Laci, he knows she is in China waiting for us!

Yes, you are a family of four! It's just all time-sensitive. Wow, I hadn't read the latest newsletter - 20-21 months sure does feel better than the 3-4 years rumor that flies around the Internet.
