This is great how it worked out....this piece of fabric is from a family we did not even know when we began the journey to adopt (July 2006) or even, when we began the project of Laci's 100 Good Wishes Quilt! Jacob first met his friend, Brighton, in Ms. Wimpy's kindergarten class in the Fall of 2007. I met her mother, Jerilyn, on the way to Cagle Dairy Farm in October of that school year for a field trip, we carpooled together....we never stopped talking (imagine that) and to this day we have not :o)...Oh, and the kids are still friends...they shared the experience of their first sleep-over together, so cute! Jerilyn's husband, Dan, was the (encouraging/ supportive) coach of Jacob and Brighton's soccer team....they are a beautiful and strong family of six and we will forever be friends, of this we are certain!! We are happy to be able to include them in this wonderful keepsake that will forever be treasured~
